NYLC FALL 2009 ATTENDEES

Hellooo fellow leaders!
My name is Phebe, I'm from California and I'm extremely ecstatic about attending the November 10-15 NYLC Meeting. I'd love to "meet" some of you online before the actual event, so please feel free to start introducing your wonderful selves.

I'm beginning to feel that I'm the only one attending this session...uh oh.

Don't worry Phebe. You're not haha. I am =) I'm Courtney from MA. NYLC is going to be so much fun. I know kids who have gone in the past and said it was one of the best things they had every been to.

Hey Phebe and Tougie! My name's Ashley, and I'm from Southern Oregon. I'm so excited for the conference! And we have only a little more than a week to go.....

my name is Kia and I am excited about the trip!

I'm Becca. My English teacher nominated me to attend NYLC, and my mum is making me do it, so here I am. :]
I don't know whether to be excited or terrified. I don't do well with new people because they always think I'm scary.

Anyway, I'm from Maryland. So this isn't a huge trip for me.

I am quite jealous of you, Phebe, for living in California; three of my favourite people live in Los Angeles. :]

Ahh I'm so glad some of you replied! It makes me even more excited for this conference. Nice to meet you all, Tougie, Ashley, Kia, and Becca. I look forward to working with you guys during the conference.

And Becca: I'm guessing these three people are movie stars?

Haha, actually, they aren't. One is my favourite artist, Gris Grimly. The other two are the boys of Creature Feature, who also happen to be my two favourite musical goons. :]

Hi! I'm Isabella and I'm for Clinton NJ! I am going to Princeton on november 12th. I am very excited.

I'm so excited! Tuesday is almost here! You guys do realize my name isn't Tougie right? hahaha How many outfits are you guys bringing?

HEY everyone!!!!! my name is Arielle Lima and i am from maryland and i am also jealous of Phebe for living in California ( i wanna live there so badly) anyways hope to see all you guys at the conference only one more day!!!!

does anyone know how to play Volleyball? nd is anyone bringing their swimsuit?

I'm already here in Baltimore! I arrived early to visit family. The weather so far has been amazing! Not as good as California weather, but it's been sunny the whole day, so I'm not complaining

I only brought with me around 5 professional outfits, and 3 casual ones. I forgot to bring my swimsuit, but I don't expect that we'll have time for swimming. Oooh, I love volleyball! But I have to say, soccer is definitely the best sport. Hahaa.

One more day until the conference! Wooo! I'm so pumped!

Haha, I don't know why everyone is calling you Tougie, Courtney. Maybe because it's catchy? X]


I'm bringing a four or five "professional" outfits and a bunch of my normal clothes. I hate dressing in monkey suits (professional nonsense). >_<
I'm not bringing a bathing suit.


I really hope we'll have spare time, though. I'd like to go out in small groups and explore the city.
