Well despite being from LA i am truly a new Yorker deep down on the inside I like the NY Jets, NY Yankees and of course the only team that I dont like from NY is the Lakers. but right now its all about the yanks until the season ends, hopefully with a ws win. i would think that la is different from pitts. but in reality it isn't all hollywood and stuff, its just like a normal town atleast were i'm from but that changes as you start going deeper into the city.

ive been to NYC before and i loved it there! it was so cool. the city was crazy, unlike downtown pittsburgh. the burgh is definitely a sports town. i love the steelers and especially the penguins!! well the pirates arent doing so well...17 losing seasons in a row haha. pretty much since PNC park was built the only games that sold out were the all star games, and the time the Yankees came to town haha

Yeah i've been to ny multiple times planning to go there for college great city, but back to sports what can i say people go see the yanks because their the best hands down, no question, the best always will be. I fell sorry for the pirates but it'll get better soon hopfully. Strange that you like the penguins, though i am not much of a hockey fan when i do watch the sport I always root for the penguins. They are my fourth favorite team of all my teams and was pretty happy when they won the stanley cup earlier this year, seriously no lie i'm a undercover hockey fan.

sidney crosby is so awesome!! haha. well my dad knows the assistant equiptment manager for the pens, and he had the cup for a day so we got to go see it then. it was awesome. the keeper of the cup was even there, and when they brought it to his house in the van, the cup had a seatbelt on haha. i didnt go to the pens parade cause we were still in school, and all the other schools in the pittsburgh area were already on summer break. i think there was like 250,000 people there for that parade. and the steelers parade, i didnt go to that either cause we had school that day, and if u know the weather in pittsburgh its super cold in january. it was like 25 degrees that day and snowing, so i didnt wanna go freeze my butt off haha...oh and yay!! IT'S A HOCKEY NIGHT IN PITTSBURGH!!!

sorry for the late response busy weekend, first we had a game against a rival school on friday, we won. on sat. i had to finish my ap englsih work, then went to the beach, and today for the ntire day was at church, the weekend is gone and i didn't even get to enjoy it. anyway cool how you got to see the cup up close, you've really got connections if you know the guy who actually got to keep the cup in his home. i got to go the lakers championship rally at the collesium in june it was really nice but like i said the trophy looked like a little toothpick from where we were sitting. and the whole 25 degree thing in january, i feel really sorry for you people in th north in january its 75 degrees here on a bad day, do you think that it'll get below 40 when we're in dc in nov?

its cool...i have busy weekends too. wow at least u guys have a good football team, at my school they are completely terrible. they went 0-9 last year and they are currently 0-3. but the jv game went pretty well, they only lost by 1 point. and thats so cool u live by a beach! its at least like 4 hours to the nearest beach from where i live haha. i remember when the lakers won the nba championship. it was pretty much the same time as the stanley cup win. i remember cause i watch way too much espn haha. and the weather in dc...idk if it will get below 40. in the bugh it probably will be snowing. weather on the east coast is so bipolar. it could be like 40 one day, then like freezing with snow the next. it might snow while were there...u never know

we started school august 31...on time finally cause they just finished redoing the whole highs school. when did you start school? your so lucky that its still hot. its like in the 70s here but its gonna get really cold soon haha. you are gonna be in shock in dc. its not gonna be warm like california. it might snow there, but idk if it will. i just hope theres not a huge snowstorm in pittsburgh, or it will be bad driving to dc...so im guessing your flying to dc right?

we started school on Sept. 9th, we start school later than most people every year. their doing construction at my school too ,but not to the extent that their doing at your school probably, their just putting in new planters and redoing most of the stairs. it wasn't too bad today in the mid 80's the heat starting to dye down but their are afew fires in the hills and thats gonna bring our temp up once they start going good. i know i'm gonna be in shock gonna leave here at 6in the morning its most likly gonna be warm then get there in 5 hours and be freezing should be fun. and yeah i'm flying couldnt drive or take a plane it would took me 2-3 days to get there that way. ur driving?
