so i know for sure that im gonna have make up work to do...do we bring that with us or just wait and do it afterwards? i know school policies differ, but ya get the basic idea.

I am nervous, anxious and excited!!! it's my first time away from my mom, first time on a plane..... alot of first times!!!! My school is allowing me to get free points on all my work. i just have to give a lot of presentations to the classes and the school district and stuff like that. if i were you I would wait. most schools give you a time limit per days missed. like if you were sick.

I don't know what your school district's absence policy is, you're probably going to have to look that up, but all my teachers know I'm going to be gone and I'm going to be spending a lot of time after school with them to catch up on what I've missed. (Before school is devoted to marching band practice :P) We have a block schedule so I have to make up my work within two cycles (4 days) or it's counted as late, and I have to do that in addition to regular classwork.
That's how my district and school do it, I'm not sure how yours will work but it might be similar.

I go to PHS. I'm in the IB program, though, so I'm kind of secluded from most of the other students.
