the shoes are probably a little casual.. but you might be able to get away with them but idk... dark brown dress pants are fine as are nice long shirts... i just got back from my session half the days were cold and the other half were hot so bring a jacket for sure. idk about the shuttle.. you have to participate in model congress but don't worry they will tell you everything you need to know they give you a book with everything so don't worry... they also give you things on your representatives

Wow...I'm not sure about the shoes...but I'd play it safe and say probably not. Any color pants are fine, but most people stick with beige/black/navy/browns because it's perceived as more..well..professional. I'm not sure what you mean by long sleeve shirts, so I can't call that one either...you might try NOAA's weather service to see what the weather is like now in DC.
I fit everything of mine in two suitcases, though in hindsight I probably over packed. Ah well.

$40 covers round trip shuttle - but you have to pay when you arrive, I think...or I did, anyways.

MoCo IS MANDATORY! you WILL do something, though you can volunteer to do more - i.e. speaker of the house or something like that.
Yes you will get to meet with your reps assuming that they aren't over scheduled (I met mine, but both of my senators were busy that day). I brought questions to mine (after frantically phoning home to ask questions my mom wanted answers to), only to spend a grand total of about 5 minutes with him. I can't say that all Rep meetings will be that way though, so it's up to you how you prepare for him/her.
