Do we really get to meet our Senators and Reps?

Yep, we really do! It's something like the third or fourth day of the Conference...you go to the middle of D.C. and check out all the really famous places! I won't spoil it, but it's wicked awesome. Depending on how you hit it timewise,some people in my group even got asked to lunch by their reps. One girl got escorted through those underground- walkway things and walked right up to the white house! No such luck here, but hey! Whatevs..

yeah they set up meetings with set places and times for you to meet with your reps and such but sometimes they dont have set times. i didnt have a set appointment so i just had to walk in but everything worked out. lots of kids get offered internships and recommendations and things. its way cool. best advice i can give....DONT WEAR HEALS the day you go into the capitol! its brutal and it was pooring down raining when i was there. i ended up taking off my heels and walking bearfoot around the capital!
