I mean, if you look at the jrPYLC or PYLC people post like crazy and they seem extremly involved, while over here is just seems so...blah?

Not complaining just curious. I know a lot more people are coming than just only the people posting on here. Where are you guys hiding? I don't bite...lolWave

1) Not a lot of NYLC/PYIC(PYLC?) people find this board, and I have to say that I almost didn't find it either. Out of my NYLC conference only 3 other people found this board (4/271 = small number : P).
2) Not everyone has something to say about everything.
3) What if you really do bite, and you're just tricking us? : (
4) Holidays, and if you've been around the boards for long most everything has been discussed at some point. There are always some new topics but they are few and far inbetween. In fact I made one in Debaters 101 a while back and it only got two responses, even though I don't think it had been debated before.

don't worry... the closer you get to the actual dates of the conferences things will pick up.... lots of people don't know these boards exist... I went to the conference with people who had no idea they were here until I showed them AT the conference...

You really do have to read if you want to know what you're talking about, yes.

Aside from that every FA is different - most of what my LGM was done in discussions. One of my roomies had a different FA and she had to fill out papers left and right. But she was also a stereotypical model, so perhaps she was just blowing things out of proportion...

But hey, that's Summer NYLC. I can't talk about Spring.
