I'd take the passport, or go to your local BMV(Bureau of Motor Vehicles) and get a state issued ID

I don't have my driver's license yet and when I went to test for my permit, they took the other photo ID I had away so all I have is my permit. It has a photo on it and all the information a regular license has. Will that work?

I brought my permit with me. I'm 15, and in South Carolina we have our permits at 15 so. But for those of you who don't have those, bring your passport or some Identification issued by the DMV.

Christina what you can do is like Brian said, go to the BMV, and get a simple I.D card, here in south dakota i could drive at 14, but i've seen passport as another option also
