It will be MUCH easier to kinda but your dirty clothes folded back in your suitcase on the third day rather than the fourth(the day they tell you to) because you will be tired on the fourth day because you go to Harpers Ferry and will be super tired when you get back.

Yeah, it doesn't have to be khaki material. Just khaki colored. And the shirt doesn't have to be a polo as long as it's plain white.

Yes, you have to bring a sleeping bag but you don't have to bring a pillow. I would recommend bringing a small pillow though because your neck will hurt because the floor is really hard. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask me!

For a pillow it is okay if you bring a sweatshirt and roll it into a pillow. Thats what I did and I wasn't too sore.

I brought a microbead pillow, super small square one. That way it didnt take up too much room in my suitcase but I still had a pillow for the overnight.

You can get sleeping bags with pillows built inside. It saves lots of room.

You don't even need to bring a pillow, you could bring just a rolled up sweatshirt but your neck will be sore so I wouldn't recommend it.

If you have a lot of clothes that need to be hanged. Bring extra hangers too. They only have 10 per room and you have to share with your roomates.

Also a trash bag to put your dirty clothes in. That way you have them all together when you get home and you can just dump them in the hamper. Also, doing this keeps your other clothes fresh as they aren't all jammed in with the dirty ones. Smile

It all depends on how much you are planning to take. Keep in mind that a sleeping bag for the sleepover will take up a good amount of space.

As for my trip, I bought one of the biggest duffle bags I could find and checked it, and I had a backpack which was perfect for the sleepover. You may also want an extra purse of something of the sort for personal items for the tour days.

Any other questions feel free to ask. Smile

I had one humongus suitcase with my sleeping bag in it with an Abercrombie tote to use as a bag. I carried another Abercrombie tote that was slightly bigger as a carry-on. Don't bring to much stuff though. You don't want to have to carry extra stuff.

You could check a suitcase with everything but your sleeping bag in it and carry-on a duffel bag with your sleeping bag in it. Just make sure the clothes you're going to wear on the last day and your toilettries fit so you can use that bag for the sleepover.

Is there anything you wished you had with you during the sleepover? It turns out the fall people are having it too. Do thay have showers at the MSC?

Mickee, It is a REAL science center , they don't have showers. You just have to shower that morning or the night before the sleepover. For packing advice, you don't need much. All u really need for the sleepover is
> your pajamas( be sure they fit the requirments, no tank tops and shorts can be no shorter than middle finger tip .)
> clothes for the next day ( u can just wear they outfit u wear the last day the day of the sleepover. It saves space!!!
> toothbrush , toothpaste , that stuff
>sleeping bag
>money for gift shop
>canera
>watch ( u really need a watch if u want to see the planetarium show!!!! )
