anyway, Sarah, ((if u read this)) i dont think im going to the airport, becuz im not flying. i'll probbaly just show up at the 4-H ((the meeting place)) cuz thats wat my brother did when he went a few years back! ;D

heyy how many floors are on the 4-H? and are the floors like, boy, girl, boy, girl, etc...

do you meet somewhere in the 4-h for meetings or do you go somewhere else?

There's a building for boys and a building for girls, haha. But when I went there was an overpopulation of boys so they had to take 2 floors from the girls building and give it to the boys, so you would see boys walking around the girls building! Which usually isn't allowed. The 4-H Center is HUGE! I got lost every single time I tried to go somewhere alone.

The meetings are in the 4-H Center, in a special room you're assigned too.

kool...i guess. the thing is, im a REALLY big tomboy, and about 90% of my BEST friends are guys. ((yea i know )) i mean i have girl-friends and stuff, just my BEST friends are mostly guys. so im really used to being around guys.

anyway, thanxx for all your help! im so excited for the trip! hopefully ill be able to use the computer as much as possible though, cuz i promised my class id e-mail my teacher everyday so we could keep in touch, but oh well!

What is the 4-H center like? Would you choose it over other hotels? plz help me even though i whave over 3 months to wait

ok so hey guys! your talking to the MASTER of Jr.NYLC. I can tell you ANHYTHING you wanna know about anything. i loved it there.. anyway.. so the 4h center.. well i remember first coming to it.. and i was in the car and my face LIT up! first you see the main hall to your front... and then to your right are the buildings your going to be sleeping in.. and having LFG meetings.. unless you have it in the front building.. which they will explain to you where everything is in the tour you'll take. one little saying of advice.. BRING SHAMPOO... they dont have it there. and i would bring a hair dryer.. because i didnt.. and at 6 30 in the morning going down to eat breakfast it was pretty cold... also.. TURN OFF THE AIR CONDITIONER WHILE SLEEPING!!!!! the covers arent that thick so keep a window open a little bit.. but dont keep the air conditioning on... ALSO... the rec room is the best ever! its so much fun. but dont spend ALL of your free time there guys! you get so long in DC, so take advantage of that time and explore the campass a little bit! thats what i wish i did.. and i would either tell someone to save you a spot in teh beakfast line or get down there before anyone else comes.. be there when they open it! because trust me, the hallways get blocked off by people and one time people had to waite outside in a line for breakfast.. it was pretty bad... and the food is NOT as bad as everyone says it is... trust me. but when you come home at 10 you will probably be hungry.. so i would bring snacks. and the gift shop is SOOO expensive. definetly get a suvenior.. but DONT spend all your money there!!! your going to sooo many other great places so save ur money. for your first LFG meeting.. i wouldnt be the first one there. just cause, you dont want to seem like a nerd. just remeber, DONT BE LATE!!!!!!!!!! seriously.. if you think you cant make it to ur meeting because u took a while in the breakfast or dinner line.. just SKIP... BE HUNGRY!!! YOu dont want to miss ANYTHING that ur learning there. Set an alarm clock MANY times. and take showers and brush your teeth.. because trust me, these people are smart... they know when somehtings up. and if you get homesick.. TRY not to wake up your roomates.. i HATED when my roomate got homesick and woke us all up.. and i would get to bed by 12... because anytime after that is going to hurt you the next day. ok well i know this was long but if you have ANY questions just messege me.. i know you guys are excited.. so PLEASE messege me.. i love answering questions... well, hope i heelped!!

What do you do at the sleepover and wht is it like

the sleepover is AWESOME!!! just about everyone at the conference agreed that the Hard Rock Cafe and Science Center Sleepover were the best! when i went, there was a mandatory IMAX movie, and 2 others that were optional. the girls slept on the 2nd floor, boys on 1st, and FAs on 3rd. you can sleep ANYWHERE you want on the entire floor! ((the 2nd floor has a really pretty view of the city )) and there exhibits everywhere to check out!

the entire sleepover was my fave part, but be prepared to cry at the comencement ceremony when you leave everyone! but anywayy, the IMAX was hilarious for me cuz me and my friends kept putting popcorn on the kids in front of us. it was hilarious! and during the optional one i went to, i kept shouting out "is that a planet?" but i used this really funny voice it was sooo funny!

anywayyy, the sleepover is AMAZING FUN!!!!

What can you do in your free time at the 4H center? Or do you not get any free time??? What kind of amenities do they have at 4H?

I will answer the first two questions. There's not very much free time. The only time you get free time is dinner or breakfast, but I would count those out because there's usually not very much time after eating. But during evening LFG meetings there's at least about 15 minutes of break time in between. Most of the time people go to the rec room to get a snack from the vending machines. You'll learn about the rec room more later.

No your roommates are not in your LFG? Neither any of my roommates were in the same LFG. But you maybe riding the same bus with one of your roommates. One of my roommates and I rode the same bus.

Yes. But I never used it because you'll rarely have time to go to the arcade. But they have change machine there. So you can turn your dollar bills to quarters.
