1. remember sneakes (i forgot mine

)
2. i don't suggest using the room alarms because you don't know if it is going to work (or if you even set it correctly) bring your own and if it has the function, set two alarms.
3. keep all your personals close to you at all times, dont want to lose them/ have them stolen.
4. don't be stupid and do something that will get you in trouble (prank calls, out after room check).
5. you get a 'memorybook' type thing at the end, but i recommend getting your friends to sign your workbook, because you might not have time for them to sign your 'memorybook'
6. i heard this from the advice for GYLC but: bring a second notebook and use it to keep a journal/ draw in it/ write ideas, jokes/ get peoples contact info.
7. don't bother watching tv when you get back to your room...you will be tired and besides, theres not much on at 10-11 (at the 4-h we didnt have cable

)
8. take pictures of everything! your friends, your fas, the sights, the lfgs, everything!
9. when you are in your historical snapshot meetings: DO STUFF! because if not you will be unprepared and might have to sacrifice sleep to get it done. (we had a meeting at 5 in the morning the day of to get our skit together...and if you are making an early meeting MAKE SURE EVERYONES COMMITED! the girl whose idea it was to have a 5 AM meeting slept in and didnt come till later! and she kinda had a big part...)
10. get to know your roommates...they are fun to talk to whenever you get back to your room and at night (just dont stay up too late!)
