I was in 8th grade when I went and I was one of the youngest ones there. Most people are in high school, leaning towards underclassmen. But there will be a sorta big age distribution, I think. Hope that helps!

The age generally ranges from eight to ninth grade but occasionally you get younger and older. Don't worry age REALLY does not matter at this conference. You get along with virtually everyone.

i'm not a perfect girl; my hair doesn't always stay in place & i spill things a lot. i'm pretty clumsy, and sometimes i have a broken heart. my friends & i sometimes fight. & maybe somedays , nothing goes right. but, when i think about it.& take a step back , i remember how amazing life truly is & that, maybe JUST maybe. i like being UNperfect.

When I went there were only a hand full of 7th and 10th graders, There were mostly 8th and 9th graders. But everyone got along really well so the whole age thing didn't really matter!!

NYLSC scholars are broken down into 3 age groups:

6th/7th
8th/9th
10th/11th

Your roommates and group members will only be within your age group Smile
