Hi everyone! Im attending the conference in Febuary 2009, and i have some questions.

#1.Do you have any time to call your familys
#2.What is the food like?
#3. Is the conference in the hotel?
#4.Do u get any awards at the end of the conference?

1. we had to be in our rooms by ten and are checked in, after that you can do anything u want in your room, i did call my family and check my email and things like that

2. the food at chicago was amazing! it was a buffet three times a day. they always has salad and desert and fruit it was really good and there were a lot of choice

3. yes the conference is in a hotel. you are assigned one roommate. we took up about 5-6 conference rooms in the basement.

4. the ending ceremony is presented by a group of scholars. they decide is any awards will be given out.

i STRONGLY reccomend bringing a digital camera

haha. YES. i think there'd be a whole lot of controversy if you didn't
