What is NYLSC like? Im going into 2009, and im so exticed, is there anything i should not wear?Is dark jeans ok? roomates, breakfeast, lunch , dinner?

you defienetly absolutely must bring a camera. also make sure you get all ur friends emails and phone numbers. there are sooo many great memories. dont worry about clothes. we had someone who wore orange jeans lol everyone is really accpeting and non judgemental, make sure you do eat because it can be very tiring. roomates are fun and you get to really know your groups

There really isn't anything, except don't wear jeans on the first and last days.

The food was always delicious, with vegetarian options too. There was pizza, salad, Mexican, breakfast sandwiches, pasta, different things different meals. But at dinner there was always salad available and at breakfast there was always cereal and fruit.

Dark jeans are fine for the casual days. My roomate and i got along ok, but we werent the very best friends. You're not gonna be in your room for very long though, so that really doesnt matter. the food was really good, we had italian food, and there were, like people said, vegitarian options. you're gonna have to do a project, either commencement ceremony: you run commencement, talent show: run the talent show, of student lead seminars: run your own seminar. SLS is definately the most fun. ( i was in SLS). Be ready to have the time of your life
