What is the commencment ceromony and what do you do at it? and I know I had to have peers and mentors evaluate me, but is there anything else I have to do before the conference to prepare?

oh you just have then go online and fill out a survey about you that is all you have to do!! thnx for reminding me i totally forgot to do that! i did it in JrNYLC but there making me do it again!!

The commencement ceremony committee is where you help set up for the commencement ceremony. You don't have to say a speech if you don't want to. You help set up tables, show people to their seats, ect. I think you get the point. Dancer590 pretty much sumed up everything about the pre conference assignment. I guess that pretty much about covers it. HOpe this helped

im not totally sure about that i think u do! so i dont know which group to do cause i am going to be in the variety show and i dont know if you have to be in the variety committee to be in the show but i dont think so. and i really like public speaking so i may want to do the commencement ceremony committee so that i can do a speech!

yeah I think I might do the same thing cause I really like public speaking too. when is your conference?

I think so. I don't think that you have to be part of the committee to help set up. At my conference, the people on the commencement commitee were asking people from the other groups to help set up/clean up.

you don't have to be on the variety show committee to be in the variety show. I was in scholar led seminars and I participated in the variety show.
