I got better friends at JAB, and the things I learned were new to me and were useful. JrNYLC for me was a good experience as we went to many sights to see, but the stuff we learned was not really special at all- pretty basic, and I already learned it before.
JrNYLC was a so-so experience again to me mainly due to the sleepover. Many people were crying as they lost their luggage, and it was a stressful, and depressing sleepover. Even the FA's were disappointed!!!
The thing I didn't like about JAB was the USS Mass during the sleepover. The ship smelled crazy- and everything in my duffel smelled like the ship when I went home. Also, the food was not really good, and people were messing around! Some people said there were some crazy things inside the ship that they didn't like, and that some of the bunks fell down. It was a nice ship to visit and see, but the sleeping was NOT a good experience.
Another thing I didn't like is that we didn't get to go to many of the important sights in Boston- like Harvard, in which has lots of examples of leadership as it is a school. Nor even try Boston's great food that many rave about!
But all in all, JAB is definitely better!

Hi. I just went to Jr.NYLC and I was wondering, is it like the same thing as Jr. NYLC? And is it likely that you will know somebody because you went before? Thanks for answering this question for me. I really want to go but find out more about it before I get the packet thing.
Lets go badgers!

i went to JrNYLC and i got my invite to JAB (is that it's abbreviation?) just a couple of questions 1. i have already been to boston and seen most of the sites they have on the schedule. is it worth it to go? 2. how are the dorm rooms? 3. how many roommates? 4. the invite says you stay at a hotel. is it like a real hotel? with real hotel rooms? 5. how are the FA's? 6. curriculm??
