Hey everyone! My name is Cyrin and I attended JrNYLC in the summer of 2008. I was invited to JrNYLC Alumni Boston for the summer of 2009. But, I can't afford the tuition and other fees because I just bought a new house and I have a new baby sister coming. I need help and ideas on how to get the money! Got any idea? PLEASE HELP ME!

It's more than a fantasy. Less than reality. It's more than me alone. But, less than the world. It's more than a dream. But, less than what I wake up too. It's my future knocking at my door.. and I'm LOVING it! <3 California..I'm coming back! <3
thats a tough situation. but i have a friend who fundraised in her town/ community. you could do somthing through your school or church if they dont mind helping you with a fundraiser. there is also a thing where you write a note to a company like maybe a bank or something and ask then to sponser you yuo can offer them an essay about your experience photos or a gift from boston or wherever you are going; that was my dads idea! also if you call the people at cylc you can talk to them about the tuiton program or or payment plans. there are many options.
p.s you can pm for details about any of them i have some deas of fundraisers you could do!!

If you go to the website and go to FAQ (frequesntyl asked questions) then there would be one about money and how if you can't afford it then there will be a link on fundraising click on that. that was a big help to me. But im now going to JrPYIC!

I went to Jr.NYLC and my parents wanted me to funraise myself. This link helped me out a lot,it has a funraising guide that has a sample fundraising letter.FundraisingI recommend using the sample letter to help you make a letter and then sending it to all the businesses in you community.Or you can apply for a scholarship but you have to qualify for it.Hope I can help!
