Lots of people have questions about dress codes, what to wear, etc. and it may help to see some photos. If alumni could post a link to their photos from GYLC, that would be helpful.
GYLC photos are there but you will have to go select them and if you can be bothered to go search through the blog archives there is a summary of GYLC although it is mostly comical/trivial things.

Salut! I attended the American session last year from I think it was the 25th of June until the 6th of July. I'm pretty sure it was this because we went to see a yankees game for independance day which was pretty cool, anyway, I'm sure you will have a great time no matter which session you go to.

Hey, I attended the 10th July session 2005 in the US. I guess i dont really have to go into how awesome it was..? Well anyway a couple of friends and i have a few pictures up here.
I ended up taking about 1500 pictures during the trip, so you can imagine why i said a 'few'.
During the day the dress code was formal. So it comprised of suits for the guys and any formal wear for the girls (so lang as it covered the shoulders and wasnt too short) At othertimes it was as casual as you wanted it to be.
Well i really hope all you guys enjoy your sessions. Have a good one.
